Oyster Fleet prepares to embark on the 27,000 nm Circumnavigation, starting on January 14th, 2024 in Antigua, BVI

Ahead of the upcoming Oyster World Rally which begins at the Historic, Nelsons Shipyard & UNESCO World heritage site in Antigua, BVI starting mid January 2024. Broker Capt. Steve Black & guest were recently invited to a private viewing of the new Bluewater Fleet at British Prestige Yacht Builder, Oyster at their base located in the UK.
Originally, the Oyster Sales team invited Capt. Steve out to California to view their newly released European Yacht of the Year 2023 Oyster 495 which at 50' loa is the smallest in their fleet.
However, due to a family event in the UK, Steve was already on the other side of the Atlantic & was fortunate to be able to view the new Oyster 495, Oyster 565 & Oyster 595 Deck Saloon Yachts prior to their final commission completion & upcoming preparations for the 2024/ 25 Oyster World Rally season. These are true Bluewater Offshore Yachts with a 50 year pedigree, built for Bluewater ocean passages. An impressive Yacht designed by the Humphrey's Yacht Design Group, London, UK.
As Steve was flying eastward across the Atlantic ocean last month for the viewing, there were several Oyster Yachts still transiting westward as part of the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) Fleet 22 Oysters in all, making their way to the West Indies & Caribbean Island chain for the start of the Oyster World Rally a 27,000 mile circumnavigation. Steve & guest were truly amazed with the quality of build & craftsmanship that go into each & every custom bespoke Yacht that is built by the Oyster team of craftsman.
The attention to detail is remarkable and a real testament to the Oyster Yacht Brand.
