This "Grand ole lady" started off as a passenger ship, and has spent time as a coast guard vessel for fishing control, before coming to warmer waters as a research vessel.
In my opinion she is ideal either for a charter vessel or for conversion into a super yacht. With her steel structure, she is used to cruising the colder waters, in her role as patrol vessel, but with her asking price being negotiable, she could take on a very different role.
Her Captain owner would consider part ownership of his ship, and she is currently available for charter.
Norweigan flagged. Documentation in order.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
