Broker's Comments

The Moody 31 is a thoroughly well planned and executed cruising yacht with good accommodation for her size. Stepping aboard first impressions are of wide and secure side decks for moving forward and clean lines led aft for ease of handling sails; and with her in-mast main she's particularly attractive for short handed crews. A comfortable cockpit with plenty of stowage and a well sheltered companionway leads below to a pleasantly trimmed saloon, with a double aft cabin to starboard and nav station plus heads to port. Two saloon berths with a table to seat six and a generously proportioned forward double cabin provides weekend comfort for up to six crew members. Mechanically she has been clearly well maintained and the motor looks practically brand new with all servicing meticulously completed annually. Sea-kindly and comfortable in a blow she is a capable shoal draft cruising yacht and ideal for coastal and cross channel work - one could say, an ideal family yacht!
