Broker's Comments

Westerly Yachts were well known for building high quality solid sailing cruisers of all different shapes and sizes and in the early 90's the Oceanmaster 48 was their flagship. 24 were built and this is the first, built in 1989 and finished in 1990 as the Southampton Boat Show boat. She has sail number OM1 and lots of documented history including original sales brochures

She is presently undergoing a full refit, some of which is completed and some in progress. Everything required to finish off has been purchased right down to catches and latches and is stored in a container close to the boat. The rig is out and she will require new sails however she is in the water with engine in commission and so could comfortably be lived aboard whilst the works take place, either where she is in a great marina or moved on her own hull

And when she's ready what a fantastic world cruising sailboat she will be again. Or a very comfortable well equipped liveaboard as she has been for a family for the last couple of years. Only for sale because for them work has meant a change of direction, this lovely boat is now looking to continue her adventures.
