The Achilles 9m is a well respected, heavily and strongly built offshore cruiser with short-handed ocean racing and cruising potential. It was an Achilles that won the 1984 single-handed transatlantic race!
When I talked to the current owner he told me that he has had many years of enjoyable, reliable South West cruising but will now be downsizing.
This boat would make an ideal first family boat.
Although presently shown with a self-steering windvane, this will be removed before sale.
