I have known this boat since she was new and she has been in the same family ownership for over a decade. She has been lovingly cared for throughout her life. She has been wintered ashore every year from October until April and is moored on a sheltered, secure mooring during the sailing season.
The Achilles 9 metre is a capable cruiser racer of her generation, her designer and builder raced the first one across the Atlantic, winning her class.
This vessel has had a new engine fitted in 2002 and new crusader sails 6 years ago. The windows and upholstery have also been renewed. A new sacrificial strip has been fitted to the genoa.
The interior sleeps 5 in 2 cabins. There is a double berth forward and the heads are to port. The saloon has 2 settee berths with the navigation station to starboard and there is also a quarter berth. The galley is opposite the nav station. The interior is dry and comfortable and presented in good condition.
She is competitively priced for a boat of her age and condition.
