Broker's Comments
How would you like a yacht full of character that resembles a modern mini galleon? A yacht with a unique figure head on the bow, that will turn heads and give you something to talk about in the marina bar?
Well, this superb Maurice Griffiths design ticks those boxes and many more. With an easy to handle ketch rig, a large well protected centre cockpit with wheel steering, a 38hp engine and a shallow long keel with lifting centreboard, this versatile yacht can take you to many places. A holiday home by the sea, creeking / exploring right up those shallow rivers and estuaries, or even banging across the channel to France.
As for living space, there’s plenty of it and she would make a great live-aboard, either mobile or stationary.
The aft cabin has a large double berth and plenty of standing room. The main saloon, with cabin heating, feels light & airy, the saloon table can be converted into a double berth & there are two further single berths when required.
There is a forward facing nav station, a practical separate heads/shower compartment up forward and a full cockpit enclosure provides more sheltered space & seating for those wet weather days.
Although she appears a little unclean externally (due to lack of use & her current location) the interior is very clean, dry and tidy. All in all, a great family boat with holiday, home and fun written all over it.
