Broker's Comments
The B-25 is regarded by some as the original / first sports boat. The unique design by Lief Beiley was considered ahead of its time and he produced a vessel that is fast, rugged and easy to handle.
The hull, made from Kevlar epoxy over a foam core, makes this vessel both lightweight and seaworthy. The deep lifting keel with bulb gives stability whilst also allowing for easy launch and retrieval. The interior has been kept simple but functional to allow her to race or be used as a weekend sailer.
The cockpit is roomy, fitted with self tailing winches, the rig is simple and she has a clean and uncluttered deck.
This example has been maintained well and is clean and tidy above & below decks. She has been used mostly as a fun family sailer but has also been very successful when occasionally raced.
There is a B-25 One Design Racing Class Association providing a place for like minded owners to come together and share knowledge, experience and fun.
A great little all round race boat that is attractive too.
