Broker's Comments
This Bavaria 31 is found in very nice condition with lots of extra's such as a good positioned chart plotter at the helm, mid ships cleat for ease of mooring, radar even a 4 x 240v double socket ring in the saloon for comfort. Two owners from new and initially berthed in Brittany the current owners have cruised the Solent since 2005, a retired couple, visiting many marinas on the Isle of Wight, plus occasional trips to Lymington, Poole and Weymouth. They have found her to be ideal easily handled and rigged for solo sailing she has a decent sized fridge, hot water from both the engine and shore power, auto-pilot and easy reefing. Cockpit canopy and folding table provide shelter and comfort in inclement weather and are easily stowed when going to sea. Under the current ownership the engine has been had an annual service every year carried out by a Volvo trained engineer. Wintered ashore under current ownership for 5/6 months of the year.
