Rarely has a yacht come to me with such a complete, serviced and ready to go safety equipment. This is unsurprising as she is ready to depart on the ARC.
She is also equipped with a sea drogue to slow her in very strong downwind sailing.
The EPIRB is brand new from Sep 2013.
The liferaft is also brand new from Sep 2013 and is a six man oceangoing raft compliant with ISO9659-1.
Broker's Comments
This yacht is in excellent condition. It has been fully kitted up for this year's ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers). Nothing has been left to chance in terms of equipment, safety and integrity of the vessel to withstand the worst an ocean can throw at it. Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances the vendors have had to pull out of the ARC. So if you want to cross the pond this season he have a yacht ready to depart as soon as you have stowed your personal effects and provisioned her. This yacht has been owned from new by the same vendor and his attention to her maintenance is plain to see. This year Jimmy Cornell is organizing an Atlantic Odyssey crossing of the pond in January so this could also make a perfect boat for participation in that rally.
Hurry come to view her I can unhesitatingly guarantee that you won't be disappointed. A part exchange for a smaller boat could be a possibility.
