Broker's Comments
The Beneteau First 27 is a great cruising/racing yacht, this model has given her owners great pleasure but they are now ready to upgrade. Some cosmetic work is required but we have priced to reflect this.
Quote from Owner of First Escape
'We have enjoyed sailing First Escape for nine years for both club racing and for cruising. We have had many successes in club racing and also done well in Round The Island races, e.g. in 2013 we were 10th out of 40 in our group with a time of just under 9 hours for the course of 50 miles.
We have also sailed many times to local harbours and anchorages in the Solent and Dorset coast, and cruised several times to France and the Channel Islands, most notably to delightful anchorages at the tiny island of Sark.
Many action pictures (approx. 45) are available at http://www.sailingscenes.co.uk/ by searching for “8642” – the sail number. It has also featured on the front cover of Practical Boat Owner (Jan 2011) and Poole Yacht Racing Association (PYRA) calendar for 2014.
First Escape is sailed/raced regularly and hence will require a little work by the seller to remove some marks and to tidy up before the final sale. Hence some of the pictures may not show her in ideal condition.'
A much loved yacht but time for the owner to move on, contact me to arrange viewings and it will be a pleasure to show you around.
