Broker's Comments
The Beneteau First 345 is a popular cruiser racer with keen sailing performance and comfortable accommodation. Popular for family cruising or racing with friends, this example has been in the same ownership for 18 years.
Fun to sail, the side decks are wide, uncluttered and easy to move around. The lines lead aft to a roomy cockpit and, down below, the accommodation is light, airy and well designed.
With 3 double cabins, there is plenty of privacy for family and friends. The large saloon table has ample seating and there’s a well equipped galley with a double sink. This example also has plenty of navigation equipment on a full sized, forward facing nav station.
Built in 1987, her age is showing in places but she also feels capable and current. In addition to having plenty of enjoyment sailing, the current owners have made investments in new sails (which still feel crisp), modern nav equipment and new standing and running rigging amongst other things.
This coastal cruiser racer offers swift sailing and comfortable accommodation at a good price. Well worth a look.
