Broker's Comments
Building boats since 1884, Beneteau commands a substantial worldwide market share for sailing yachts, and rightly so. Most part time yachtsmen are never going to cross oceans, round Cape Horn in a blizzard (the wrong way) or spend an Arctic winter locked in the ice of Baffin Bay. And why would you choose to?
If you wanted to do these crazy things you wouldn't choose this yacht. BUT, if you want to spend comfortable weekends, plus the odd holiday or three, cruising fast and in comfort around our shores and occasionally popping across to France or Ireland, then these Oceanis Clippers make a lot of sense. They provide easy handling under sail and power (with good access to all the pesky mechanical bits). Roomy and light accomodation which is ideal for two couples (plus two) and a very sociable cockpit and saloon for marina entertaining - even the wheel folds out of the way. I've yet to see a better designed heads compartment on a yacht of this size too! She has been meticulously cared for by her owner and it shows. There is an awful lot to like about this yacht and her condition belies her age. If you were thinking of forking out for a new 32 footer, do have a look at this beauty first.
