The Nicholson 38 is an ideal motor sailor as she is capable both as a sailing boat or under motor. Her traditional lines enable her to to deal with the most severe weather conditions whilst keeping her crew safe and dry.
This example has been re-engined and new rigging fitted in 2006. She has lots of equipment and is ready for the more adventurous sailor to go blue water sailing. She is a good example of the class although she does have some osmosis.
The accommodation has 6 berths. There are 2 in the forward cabin, which can convert to a double berth and the heads are next door to starboard. In the main saloon there is ample space around the cabin table, which also converts to another double berth. The galley is situated to port with the chart table opposite. The cockpit is both deep and safe, fully protected by the wheelhouse. The stern cabin is accessed from the cockpit and has 2 large single berths and access to a second heads so guests have their own privacy.
