Broker's Comments
Splitting the atom and quantum physics are difficult to achieve and in the world of yacht design, building a boat with the capability to exceed speeds of 20 knots , offer good accommodation for the family and also to be towed by the family car and then stored on the drive are equally as remarkable.
The Carabelli 257 ticks all the boxes, however be warned this boat will not appeal to the traditional baggy wrinkle sailor.
She will perform competitively against other sports boats but has the benefit of a comfortable interior with an inboard engine and a toilet. If you wish to release your inheritance early, take the mother in law or your granny for a 20 knot downhill blast. You will probably pick up some silverware at the regatta whilst doing so. She performs equally well in light airs, being responsive and easy to handle.
On sunny days the family will appreciate the accommodation and with the keel lifted she can sit on the beach allowing the children to build sandcastles.
Except for making you look younger I don’t know what else you could ask from a boat but this one could make you FEEL younger.
This particular vessel is the company demonstrator and has had very little use. She offers very good value for money.
