Broker's Comments

The Achilles 24 is recognised as a classic pocket cruiser. She is a capable yet rewarding boat to sail, and easy to handle. This example has an outboard engine complete with a blanking plug to streamline underneath for less drag and enhanced performance.

She has a double berth in the forward cabin with a toilet located under the berths. There are 2 single berths aft. There its a lot of evidence to suggest she has been well maintained and cared for, including;

- The boat has a 20W solar panel from Photonic Universe with proper controller
- Includes a USB and 12 v charger
- New GX1400GPS Standard Horizon VHF with GPS and DSC
- Raymarine i40 log and sound deeper (new 2020)
- Newish (2019) 85 Ah deep cycle battery in very good condition
- New-ish Harken Traveller
- 4 HP 2 stroke Mariner engine in good condition + external fuel tank
- Plug for the well - with blanking plug - helps increase the speed
- Includes Heavy cradle - would suit a boat up to 32-35 feet
- Brand new Tohatsu 6HP Sail Pro (Nov 2021) available instead of Mariner 4 HP for extra price (700 GBP)
- All lines led aft for safety and convenience including reefing - hoisting sails +
sails control from cockpit, 8 jammers and cleats, 4 each side (2021)
- Slab reefing - improved in 2021 for speed and safety
- Strengthened chainplates and bulkheads (2022)
- Full paint job 2022 (Toplac Plus/Interdeck)
- Antifouled (Hempel Performance) - 2 layers

She is a lovely little boat and offers excellent value for money. For a personal inspection please contact a member of the Boatshed Team.
