The Catalina 28 is a very popular American built sailing boat.
She is wide berth, has very spacious accommodation below deck and sufficient head height for a person around 6ft without the need to be permanently ducking your head.
This Catalina 28 feels much bigger than her size and she will comfortably accommodate 6 people on 1 large double and 4 single berths.
Even Access to the engine has been well thought out and full engine access is available on 3 sides by lifting up the cover which doubles as the companionway steps.
The current owner appears to have looked after this boat and she is nicely presented.
To assist access around the deck and also provide additional safety when at sea, the current owner has fitted some stainless steel railings along the coachhouse roof and around the foredeck.
There is also a raised helm seat which will give a good view ahead.
If you are looking for a 28ft sailing boat built to a high spec and with plenty of accommodation space, this boat should definitely be on your shortlist.
