Broker's Comments
"Squacco" is an early 1950's Bermudan masthead Sloop, built by Chesford Yacht & Launch Company, Kingsbridge, Devon.
The boat is of clinker construction with a centreboard keel. Materials used include, Mahogany on Oak with Oak planking. The deck is teak- professionally re-caulked in 2009.
This characterful and beautifully put together little boat benefits from a no expenses spared, professional, extensive renovation through 2009/2010 costing just shy of 26k- invoices, verifying works undertaken can be provided on viewing.
The boat is fully serviceable and ready to use. The sale includes a well maintained and fully operational Yanmar 1GM, fitted as part of the renovation in 2009. There is also a trolley, style trailer used to move the boat short distances or when loaded on to transportation- Note, the trailer is not suitable for road use.
The boat has been thoroughly enjoyed on inland waterways for the past 10 years, currently barn stored, she can be viewed in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
