Broker's Comments
On stepping aboard this rare Saugeen Witch - you immediately feel the sturdiness of this vessel - designed by Colvin for long distance cruising which this boat has certainly done its fair share.
With a transatlantic crossing under its belt and a multitude of equipment for long distance cruising from an array of solar panels to a heavy duty anchor windlass this is a fabulous project.
The ketch is out of the water in an overflow yard a few miles inland from the main marina so will require transport.
Since sitting for over a year the Yacht's paintwork has suffered from the intense summer sun with paintwork lifting off, and the masts have been stepped so there are quite a lot of things to do in preparation of the next cruise.
The owner no longer has time to use the boat so is looking for someone who is hands on to get this Saugeen Witch ready for the next adventure.
