Broker's Comments
The Contessa 33 was one of the best designs of her generation. She was designed by Rob Humphries, built by Contessa Yachts Ltd and Terence Conran designed the interior with ingenious use of space giving a light and airy feel. She is a boat that can be cruised in comfort and is easily handled by a couple or family whilst also having the advantage of being able to produce results in regattas and club races. The lines are all led back to the cockpit to make handling her that much easier. She is a capable yacht in the most extreme conditions.
This example has been in the same ownership for the last 10 years and has been well maintained with many new items fitted. She has an extensive sail wardrobe with a new NorLam Tour Xi 06 main and genoa fitted last year which has only been used once. A stack pack and sprayhood were also fitted in 2016.
She is a well equipped yacht that would benefit from a bit of varnishing internally but externally she has been polished and anti fouled. If you are looking for a boat that is ready to be sailed away please make an appointment to view. These boat details are subject to contract.
