Although the sails are believed to be original, they have been maintained and any required repairs carried out in a timely fashion. The mast is mounted in a heavy duty tabernacle which provides some security in the event of rig failure and, of course, simplifies the raising and lowering of the mast for winter storage.

Broker's Comments
This yacht is an excellent example of the locally built MKI Cornish Crabber having benefited from a full refit in 2014. . The owner, himself a qualified boat builder/designer, carried out the refit himself and all the work was certified by a surveyor following completion of the work. Works carried out comprises:
Complete new deck
New mast
New engine, which still has very few hours logged.
New seacocks throughout
New Perspex to forehatch
Addition of small heads compartment
Furthermore the owner has incorporated many innovative touches to make good use of available space both inside and out, in particular, the cockpit locker hatch has been modified to provide greater access allowing more efficient use of available space.
Under sail she is quite a head turner and raises many an appreciative glance when she enters our local harbour.
If you are looking for a classic looking small yacht at a sensible price where all the restorative work has been carried out, this MkI Cornish Crabber should be a serious contender.
A fully refurbished, road legal trailer is also available by separate negotiation.
We now have documentation from HMRC confirming the boat's tax status so moving the boat to the EU shouldn't present any problem.
