Broker's Comments
With a well deserved reputation as a safe, stable and swift family cruiser-racer, the MG-C27 based on the Rob Humphries designed Contessa 27, is an easy to handle, easy to maintain, good all rounder and she's pretty too.
The hull, epoxied from new, is fitted with a shoal draft lead keel which enables slick performance and shallow water exploring too. The added buoyancy from the foam filling between the inner liner helps with insulation and cuts down condensation.
Although easy to sail single handed, the practical and uncluttered accommodation layout suits family weekend sailing. The teak finish helps keep her light and airy, there's plenty of room around the saloon table and she's equipped with a full cooker, deep cool box, decent sized heads compartment and berths up to six, although this might be a little cosy.
A nice clean, well maintained vessel, well worth a look.
