Broker's Comments
With pleasing aesthetic lines known in the Baltic Sea regions as the Taiwan Swan! First built 1982 last built 1989, 80 were built. A centre cockpit 49ft Cutter, custom built in Tawain in 1983 to a high specification a go anywhere anytime yacht even providing space to be a wonderful live aboard. She has a fibreglass hull, an overlaid teak deck and fully encapsulated lead keel providing an average hull speed of 8.5 knots. She is a veteran of two South China Sea races and two Fastnet races and in 2012 a circumnavigation of the British Isles.
She has been extensively refitted and maintained over her last 2 owners - she really is a beauty! A comfortable boat with a double forepeak and a large aft stateroom with island berth and ensuite heads. She has a large forward facing chart table and a well appointed galley to the port side.
I especially liked the easy decks to walk around, the beautiful wooden helms wheel and the luxuriously sized classic teak interior.
