Broker's Comments
The Dutch shipyard, De Vries Lentsch was founded in 1874. Originally constructing wooden rowing boats, they progressed to small traditional Dutch sailing craft and then changed to building in steel and dominated the market for many years. In 1960 the design arm separated and continues today in Edam, responsible for drawing some of the most well known steel superyachts in the world.
We don't know a great deal about the history of this particular De Vries yacht, built by Doornbos Yard and bought in France, she's been undergoing a refit here in the yard for a few months now. She appears really solid, the hull looks fair, she's recently painted and a high quality original fit out down below has been well maintained and feels dry and fresh.
She has plenty of kit aboard, some of which requires updating and lots of space and storage for long term cruising or living aboard. She'll stay ashore so available for easy inspection.
