Broker's Comments
The Endurance 35 is a classic and well proven blue water cruising yacht (two of which were entered into this years Golden Globe Around The World race). Designed to cope with challenging sea conditions and long term cruising, this example is the strong and heavily laid GRP version with the added advantage of (i) inner and outer helm positions (ii) a Yanmar engine with 70 hours (last run up on 18th October 2018, see video) and (iii) a guarantee for a professional hull makeover carried out in 2013/14 which included grit blasting, drying out and re-epoxying.
Laid up in a Plymouth boatyard for the last couple of years and looking a bit lonely & forsaken, this vessel could do with a good dose of t.l.c. to bring her back to her former glory. Some of the materials for this are already provided including enough Treadmaster decking to replace the worn teak currently fitted and acrylic port holes with stainless frames.
The accommodation layout is well thought out, hardwood finished and has all the makings for a great long term live aboard. There are twin berths in the forward cabin, followed by a heads and shower compartment. There’s a double cabin with plenty of storage and spare single berth / settee & then stepping up to the deck saloon, there’s a good sized seating area and compact galley with plenty of headroom and light. There is an inner helm position giving good protection and a forward facing nav table with a handy pilot/quarter berth behind.
A safe, sturdy and spacious yacht, a must see for any sailing enthusiasts who want to sail far and wide.
