Broker's Comments
The current owner purchased this boat in 2017 from Boatshed and was preparing to take part in the 2018 Golden Globe Race. During the year leading up to the race, everything on the boat was prepared for a solo offshore race in the Southern Ocean, so top priority is given to safety. There are specific race rules with special regard to safety so the boat has been stripped back of any comfort. There is just one seacock in the whole boat (bronze) all the other have been shut with epoxy bonding.
Unfortunately she didn't make it to the start line of the race as she wasn't ready in time, however she has had a lot of work completed on her with new rigging, sails and deck gear to name a few.
The owner is selling her to concentrate on new ventures
