Broker's Comments
Etap have a good reputation for turning out quality yachts and the 26 is no exception. With a 700kgs lifting keel, which can be operated electrically or manually and a twin hull filled with closed cell polyurethane foam making her practically unsinkable, this vessel is at home both in coastal waters or exploring rivers and estuaries.
The current owner has looked after her well over the last 5 years, spending a considerable amount of time, money and effort upgrading and improving her.
Single handed sailing has been made easier as lines have been led aft via Barton deck organisers and easy lock clutches. The lifting tiller with a spin lock extension has a Seasure Midshipman tiller lock. The cockpit is well proportioned and has two handy, large lockers.
The accommodation is clean and well kept, if not a little snug due to the lifting keel assembly. The Wallace cabin heater & Etap foam insulation help keep her warm for off season sailing in UK waters.
The Nav fit is good with a decent Standard Horizon chart plotter, an AIS enabled VHF DSC and twin Tack Tick repeaters in the cockpit.
Altogether a well equipped, impressive, responsive & lively little yacht that I’m told can turn in a six pence.
