Broker's Comments
The Feeling 1040 has an easily driven hull, great under power or sail. With her 28hp Volvo, she is impressively manoeuvrable and swift under power. Under sail she is quicker than heavier boats in light winds and combined with her good track record in winds of 30kts plus, she will give you the added advantage of getting further in a limited time.
Her generous beam and broad stern give a roomy cockpit with space for crew and abundant stowage. She is an easy boat to handle short handed while having plenty of room for the family when required.
The accommodation layout is roomy, comfortable and practical. Although some areas of her headlining could do with updating, she has a lovely Elm wood finish throughout, which gives her a warm but light & airy feel. The wrap around galley is well equipped and practical for use at sea, there is a large foldable saloon table with ample seating for family meals and there are berths for 7.
This great mixture of style, comfort and seagoing practicality can provide you with good sailing performance and plenty of space. A great combination, aimed to please the whole family and enable the sailor in the family to get the maximum use from their pride and joy.
The price of this boat has been reduced as the owner is keen to sell quickly and purchase another boat.
