The hull is substantially costructed of lapstrake or clinker iroko planing on what is believed to be mainly iroko backbone, frames and stringers but with steamed oak timers. She has twin bilge plates. The hull was fully stripped back to bare wood in Dec 2012 and re-treated.

Broker's Comments
Designed and built by A F Platt at his 'hideaway' yard in Thundersley Essex the Finesse 24 is a traditionally built clinker cruiser and is made of quality build and this particular one is a very lovely example. She has been restored by her present owner who is still currently updating her (further pictures to come once the decks have been prepared). The finesse has a deep cockpit and below decks her interior is surprisingly spacious with good head room and very traditional .
She is ideal for coastal cruising and has been recently reduced and is in need of a new owner for the coming season.
