Broker's Comments
This is a project boat, hence she's half the price you would expect for a refurbished model.
The current family acquired the boat to use for some months before moving to Europe. The previous owner was also a liveaboard so the boat has not moved at all recently.
Unfortunately a saloon window was accidentally broken in February, 2021. The replacement pane is stored in the aft cabin.
Also needing attention is an engine repair which although paid for, was not completed. Part of the rubbing strake is missing and the front hatch is stiff.
As a marque, the Fjord 28CS has exceptional living and storage space for a boat of this size and the unusual feature of the mast in the centre cockpit makes sail handling very easy. It works well, I've tried it!
The top sides and hull look largely unmarked. The sails are in usable condition and the boat does not appear to have any leaks.
This boat could make a good project with the prospect of comfortable accommodation and easy sailing.
