Broker's Comments
Boatshed Essex is pleased to present this classic styled yacht. The Hamble 37 is a displacement, bluewater cruiser built in the traditonal style of heavy laden GRP, long keel and benefits from a ketch rig and centre cockpit. These design and build characteristics produced a comfortable cruising yacht renowned for seaworthiness and good sailing performance. Moving around the exterior of the boat is straightforward and the foredeck has plenty of room for anchoring and mooring work. The cockpit is roomy and benefits from the protection of an enclosed wheelhouse.
The interior provides ample room for the crew and even liveaboard options, including a comfortable, seperate, double aft cabin complete with sink. Across the cockpit and down the companionway can be found a spacious saloon with attractive aqua upholstery, navigation station and roomy galley. Further forward are the heads and forward, double cabin.
This version is equipped for extended cruising and complete with creature comforts, such as hot pressurised water, shower facilities and good headroom throughout. Sail handling and performance has been improved with the addition of an inmast, furling mainsail. If you are looking for a boat with pedigree for extended passage making in confidence and comfort or even a liveaboard opportunity, this boat should be considered. We are pleased to arrange viewings, so please do contact us.
