Based on the traditional Falmouth oyster dredgers and inshore fishing boats of Cornwall, this Heard 28 is a solid no nonsense cruising yacht that could take you anywhere. If it's marina style comforts, hot water showers and all mod cons you are looking for then perhaps you need to look elsewhere but if it's rugged reliability, sea kindliness and sparkling sailing performance relative to her size she may be for you. She is regularly sailed single handed by the current owner and has regularly sailed in "Old Gaffer" events. She has just had a new 30 HP Beta engine fitted (2019). She lies ashore and all inspections are welcome.
