Broker's Comments
There are many articles about cruising couples out there, the one I read recently stands out for plenty of reasons, the most relevant being the boat the couple chose for their 3,000 nautical mile adventure- the Heavenly Twins 26.
The couple sings the praises of this tough, sea going catamaran. Some of the many desirable features include, the dry and comfortable centre cockpit with excellent visibility, great stability while underway and at anchor, sensible engine accessibility and surprisingly large and well thought-out interior space. The couple also enjoy the shallow draft, allowing access to inland waterways, and 'close to shore' anchoring.
The Heavenly Twins are known for their solid construction, seakeeping and comfort, for these reasons they make excellent, affordable long distance cruisers. In fact several have completed successful circumnavigations.
'Tigger' benefits from many recent upgrades- all listed within the advert. There is some interior cosmetic work required to improve headlining. The bright work could use some attention and, as with many boats following the winter, a good spring clean would go along way to improve overall appearance. The price reflects future works required.
