Broker's Comments
Based on the Elizabethan 30 cruiser/ racer hull (considered by many as a classic), the Hummingbird, with a slightly higher coach roof and more spacious accommodation, is a fast and seaworthy cruiser.
This example, set up for single or short handed sailing, has proved herself to be an excellent passage maker. The owner has sailed her out to the Balearics and back & also sailed her across the English Channel on over 20 occasions.
Unfortunately due to ill health, this vessel has not been used this season and the fact that she has been sat on her mooring during this time makes her look a little neglected (a little green around the gills).
The sails, upholstery and Navigation kit has been kept in the dry for this period and appears to be in good condition.
With a bit of tlc from an enthusiastic new owner, I'm sure she will soon be back to her best and showing how well she sails as a fast and very seaworthy cruising yacht.
