Broker's Comments
The Horizon 23 is a popular bilge keeled cruising yacht from the board of David Thomas, who knew a thing or two about yacht design. Spacious and family friendly accommodation for a 23 footer that could also hold her own in club racing around the cans. Certainly no ocean grey hound, but a fun and easily handled coastal and cross channel yacht in the right sea conditions and with the right skipper.
A one year old main engine (with circa 10 hours only) and a fairly recent tender and 2.5 hp Mercury outboard form part of the deal. She has recently been lifted out for anti-fouling but will soon return to her berth and she remains in commission, hence all the owner's personal effects and rations are on board and in the photographs.
