Broker's Comments
Great looking Catamaran, don't see many Island Spirit's in the UK and she felt well built. Very spacious, great layout - owners cabin with heads starboard hull and two double cabins with a heads in the port side hull. Her upholstery is brand new (still in the wrappers) and the overall condition looks really good.
The owner bought her with the intention to do the Arc, he got as far as Gib and decided he would rather sail around the Mediterranean. He brought her back a couple of years ago and has since decided his sailing days are coming to an end.
With her being initially ordered with extensive sailing in mind she appears to be equipped with all the equipment necessary with light hours on both the generator and watermaker. Her standing rigging was replaced in 2013 and the owner commented that a new owner may want to look at replacing the sails and maybe upgrading the nav equipment although everything listed is perfectly serviceable. Engines serviced annually.
