Broker's Comments
Here's an interesting yacht for anyone looking for a comfortable and roomy cruiser with a slightly unusual (for British yachts) twin aft cabin lay-out. Both aft cabins are roomy for a sub 10m yacht but the best is to port! Doing away with a fore-cabin (that can't be used at sea anyway) allows a roomy saloon and stowage forward for the dinghy (deflated of course!) and other necessary 'junk' which can be accessed via a deck hatch as well as through the saloon bulkhead. As far as sailing qualities go, and never personally having sailed one, I turned to t'internet for inspiration and quote from a yachting forum "Hi, I've owned a Jouet 950 for almost 6 years. She was built by Yachting France in 1984, the designer was called Yves Marschall. Unfortunately info on Yachting France appears non existant. With reguards to the 950 (refers to length on deck, 10m LOA) she is a fantastic boat. She sails extremely well, is very fast and feels very safe when conditions are poor". Can't say fairer than that IMHO !
