Broker's Comments
These boats are great coastal cruisers, designed for fun, performance sailing. The lifting keel allows shallow draft navigation and the ability to dry out, which adds another element of enjoyment for harbour hopping and coastal exploration.
The interior is remarkably spacious for the 29 LOA, comprising a sensible size fore-peak berth, roomy saloon with large central table. Seating to port and starboard converts to form two single berths and there is a roomy aft cabin with large double berth.
There is a a navigation station to port and practical, galley to starboard. Opposite the port side aft cabin there is a heads with sink and manual sea toilet.
Externally, the cockpit feels a safe place to be due to the size and elevation. There is a huge storage locker to starboard and a neat 'sugar scoop' swim platform with ladder. Due to the placement of the traveller and the length of boom the cockpit feels unusually uncrowded for the size of boat.
The engine was upgraded in 2002, displays low hours for the age and appears in good order. The standing rigging was replaced in 2012 and the sails in 2002.
The boat would benifit from a good clean and a little cosmetic attention but otherwise appears ready for coastal cruising this summer.
The boat also comes with custom built frame/dry stand which can be easily dismantled for relocation.
