Broker's Comments
The original KINGS CRUISER was a 28 had a fractional rig and was built of wood at the Strorebro yard in Sweden. In America, it was introduced at the NY Boat show of 1955. Approx. 600 were built and sold around the world. This, the later fiberglass version, the KINGS CRUISER 29,(introduced in 1968) and built by Åbo Shipyard of Finland and has a masthead rig. Of this latter version, 246 were built, primarily for export.
This is a very pretty yacht, with a superb hull profile, with a Ballast of 1.4 tonnes @ a ratio of over 45% will clearly be a well performing stiff Yacht.
A great sized cockpit ideal for a racing crew or a family cruising.
She is in need of a little TLC but at this price with its replacement fitted good engine, she would be a great starter Yacht to take on and easily brought back to her former glory.
