Broker's Comments

This is a very fine example of the American designed Hunter Legend 326 in exceptional condition for her age. She is well equipped for coastal cruising and marina living and offers superbly practical accommodation for up to six people, in some degree of comfort. Her spacious and sociable cockpit encourages warm weather lounging, with a handy Bimini and pedestal mounted table for convivial sundowners!
Her sail handling arrangements are via two primary coach-roof mounted winches, and an arch mounted main sheet keeps the rope work out of the way of children and guests. The Selden strutted fractional mast eliminates need for back stays, allowing for a larger mainsail and easily handled genoa. Engine access could not be bettered and although my personal leanings veer towards teak rubbing strakes and hemp ropes, even I could be tempted by the sheer no-nonsense practicality of these youthful upstarts from the colonies! If you are in the market for such a yacht an early viewing is highly recommended. An active owners association exists in the UK and may be found at www.legendowners.com
