Broker's Comments
This is an oldie but a goodie. The Fenix wears her years well, with Swedish build quality strongly in evidence and a dedicated current owner who has sensibly upgraded and maintained her over the 7 years of his ownership. She has pretty lines and is well set up for short-handed sailing with a self-tacking jib, a fully battened main with super slippery batten cars, single line reefing and all lines led aft. The engine is a mere 7 years old, the sails from 2003 and her survey last year was very favourable with all the recommendations dealt with.
Down below, the accommodation is very generous for a boat of this size and the layout, whilst not completely traditional, works well. There is a good sized linear galley with a generous double aft and a vee berth forward and at a pinch, the dinette could convert to a double. Engine access is well thought out, with a single piece cover that, once removed, allows excellent all round access without hiring an octopus.
