Broker's Comments
This classic motor sailer is a Miller Fifer 33 and is now offered for sale with optional London pied-a-terre mooring.
Built in 1960, this boat has spent time in various parts of Scotland and Wales before being moved to London by the current owner.
Hull construction is carvel inch and eighth Larch planking to the waterline, Mahogany topsides, all iron fastened to sawn oak frames. Oak centreline and keel. Some planking replacement and re-caulking following 2014 survey. July 2018 lift out with additional caulking and antifouling. A number of strakes, amidships starboard topsides require attention.
Arranged with four berths in one permanent cabin and two single berths in the saloon, the interior is in good condition and there is no sign of leaking windows or damp. The Nav equipment was obviously updated in the not too distant past and looks to be in good working order.
The leisure mooring at South Dock Marina would be available with the boat if the new owner wished. The overall price does not include any premium for the mooring so it is purely an option if the new owner wanted to continue to use it as a pied-a-terre in London. Current mooring fees are £4,100 per annum.
