We continue to bring new boat listings to the market. Due to Covid-19 government imposed restrictions regarding essential movement, this listing has been created with a selection of photographs taken in Feb 2021 & Oct 2020. The popular bilge keel Mirage 28 makes an ideal family cruiser at a modest price. They are robust, well made and quite swift for a bilge keeled boat of their era.
Their deep, long cockpits have plenty of room, their clear side decks and uncluttered foredeck make them easy to move around and the running rigging leads aft, to make short handed sailing a breeze.
The shallow draft makes them ideal for exploring local creeks, whilst down below, they offer comfortable & surprisingly spacious accommodation for their size, with a decent galley and saloon, a separate forward cabin, berths for 4 and good headroom throughout.
This particular example is current and set up well. There are two forms of cabin heating, new sails in 2020, a new battery charger, new batteries, new power sockets, a dinghy in superb condition and a new Ocean Life Raft (exp April 2023), amongst others.
If you require a good cruising boat at a budget price, look no further.
