Broker's Comments

Boatshed Wales is pleased to present this Mirage 28, a well-regarded cruiser from the late 70s and 80s. Solidly built and featuring the versatility of bilge keels, this boat offers excellent sailing opportunities in shallow waters, estuaries, and coastal passages, with potential for longer voyages in favorable conditions.

Fitted with a Yanmar 2GM20, which has been seen to start, run, and perform well, the boat is suitably powered for a variety of cruising needs. Lightly used on a regular basis, it is ideally set up for simple, entry-level sailing and presents in a ‘ready to use’ condition.

With a spacious cockpit and a characterful interior, this 28-footer provides a comfortable layout, including a galley, saloon, a well-sized heads, and a cozy forward double cabin. The current owner reports that the boat is both economical and easy to sail, even singlehanded, making it an ideal choice for a first-time buyer or family cruiser.

The boat is currently afloat and easily accessible, and we warmly welcome all enquiry and viewing requests.
