We know this boat really well and understand the care and attention that has been taken, as can be seen with her piles of invoices and really careful owners.
This means that she seems in great shape, feels good, smells good and is exceptionally well equipped.
As with all Moody 29s, the combination of sturdy build and a solid sailing performance really can give the best of both worlds and at a great price and there can be only one reason that so many were built - because people love them!
She'd equally suit those new to boating as well as those more experienced sailors for a weekends away in really comfortable and enjoyable surroundings.
As a Moody 29 owner myself, I wish mine was a great a package as this!
Another comment from Mike:
Just a little extra bit of information from my recent viewing on this boat - same as Tim - I'm a Moody owner and a great fan of these boats but this particular little craft totally charmed me with her condition. She's been so well looked after I found it difficult to believe her age. The entire boat is very clean, everything is very tidy and every tiny detail or switch has its function and is labelled accordingly.
Many Moodys suffer from gelcoat damage in the most sheet exposed areas around the cockpit; here the owner fitted extra protective patches of either steel or synthetic to prevent that kind of damage.
We did the viewing on a very cold miserable day so the owner turned the Webasto heating on. The boat immediately filled with lovely warm air and the cabin lights only made the atmosphere even more cosy.
I genuinely didn't want to leave this boat. She looks great and makes a fantastic first impression. The hull looks in great condition, everything nice and clean, beckoning for the sea!
