Boatshed Lancashire are delighted to offer for sale this Moody 31. These really are superb boats – in fact nearly 300 were built (both MKI and MKII).
Designed by Bill Dixon, the Mk I Moody 31 was built from late 1983 to the end of 1985, at which time it was superseded by the Mk II, which was virtually identical except for the addition of a sugar scoop stern. Production continued until 1991.
Please ask me for a copy of the recent survey. It recommends that the keels are removed and re-bedded and new keel bolts plus some other bits of work which would need to be taken off the price.
