Broker's Comments
The NEPTUNIAN 33 is a safe, sturdy yet stylish sailboat whose build standards are almost impossible to find today. Renowned for their toughness, I have seen these purposeful little ships swinging from a pick in anchorages all over the world. This is a particularly good example of the marque and is very well presented. Her current owner (since 2012) has utilised his shipwright and marine engineer skills to thoroughly upgrade and improve the boat with a Yacht-master’s eye for detail. She can be comfortably sailed single-handed, is perfect for a family (the after cabin features a bespoke double berth) with ample room in a separate cabin forward with two single berths that easily convert to a double plus a further double in the saloon if required. Fully equipped with a tasteful new (2017) cream coloured suite of sails that also features a cruising chute, mizzen staysail and storm jib. The ketch rig offers several sail-plan options and the NEPTUNIAN with her long keel and partially enclosed centre cockpit is completely unfazed by the weather. Well equipped for cruising with plenty of kit as well as pressurised hot and cold water, ample storage and copious tankage (90 gallons of fuel and 100 of water) The fit-out is beautiful and this alongside the meticulous, seamanlike maintenance help make this a stand-out boat. It's rare for this to be true, but this is a real 'turn key' boat that is ready to go.
