Broker's Comments
The Nic 26 is a 'proper little ship' that could take the competent and adventurous sailor anywhere where there is sufficient water to sail. Rugged construction from a quality builder in the days when GRP was still something of a novelty but traditional boat building skills were still in abundance . No concessions to comforts like heating, showers or hot water certainly, but a hull, keel and rig as 'bomb proof' as they come. This example is in 'end of season condition', with some tidying up to do, when her professional mechanic owner finds the time from his day job (and the fabulous 36 footer he's just purchased, currently lying Spain!). 'Tidy up' he intends to do, but if one were to accept the work for oneself, an early offer might save a pound or two. Just a thought? In any case she benefits from a nearly new motor, spray-hood , stacpac and saloon upholstery and I dare say she can find her own way by now to the Isle's of Scilly, having been every year with her current happy family!
