Does the Captain Have a Bone to Pick, With You..?

Just a Small One !

Mama always said, that Breakfast is the Best Meal of the day & one that gives us the most sustenance; so Preparing Breakfast for the First Mate this morning, the Captain decided to throw a little bone into the Breakfast fixings. By no means was this an attempt to choke the First Mate, at least not intentionally as I was chopping & preparing the breakfast omlette fixing's I pulled a clove of garlic from the clay garlic pot on the breakfast bar; as I did so I noticed the unruly bone of contention. Wow, in all my years of making one pot wonders & cooking with garlic, I had never come across a garlic bone!
Well, guess there's a First time for everything & although It's safe to say that I made sure to omit the garlic bone from the breakfast omlette, this posses a question, how many chefs & especially those on Yachts come across this unique find? Is this a Chef's secret ? or is the Captain completely oblivious to the fact that garlics have bones ?
Sacre Blu I declared, I must of missed the memo in cooking class when this bone was getting thrown around. Hmm, does it add to the zest of the garlic ? I can say that the clove was fresh & still firm but does the bone add to the flavor of the dish? Good question you may ask & one to direct toward the First Mate, upon a full & satisfied belly & completion of the Captains Omlette, Sans the Bone of course.
Also, presentation is always part of any Good Chefs work & the Captn's Breakfast dish was of no exception; this included a slice of rosemary bread medium toasted with a generous sprig of mixed green side salad, with a drizzle of light balsamic vinaigrette & a healthy portion of Salsa A 'La Mode to top it off, a S. Texas staple in these parts,
