Broker's Comments
This is a nicely maintained classic wooden boat which has retained many of its original features. Built in 1947 for a Gentleman Surveyor by the Royal Naval Yacht Station in Essex she is now only on her third owner.
An inspection of the boat reveals that much work has been carried out over the years to keep her in first class condition including an extensive refit between 2006 and 2012 where the deck, coach-house and cockpit were all completely replaced.
Also a new engine was fitted in 2008, along with all the main machinery as well as a complete rewire.
If you are looking for a classic Gentleman's Yacht that has all the necessary work completed to bring her up to today's standards - then this is a must to view.
Also, the may be an opportunity for the new owner to keep the current mooring in St Mawes by separate arrangement.
